Taste The Terroir of Local Honey with C. Marina Marchese at Lachat Town Farm Weston CT
Join us for a special evening…a guided tasting of 5 single-origin honeys produced in our region, with C. Marina Marchese; Weston author, beekeeper, honey sommelier and founder of Red Bee.
Marina will introduce our palates to the fresh taste of honey from the hive. Each honey will be perfectly paired on a tasting plate with cheeses, nuts, chocolate and fruits, and other accompaniments. Marina will also lead us in a compelling conversation about honey bees.
Described by Forbes as “the Nation’s top honey sommelier”, Marina became the first U.S. citizen to be accepted into the Italian National Registry of Experts in the Sensory Analysis of Honey earning her the distinction of Honey Sommelier, and the founder of the American Honey Tasting Society.
